![]() ![]() Getting sucked in and playing 24 hours wasn't my initial plan. I tend to take almost an hour on customizing my character and picking out a name, whereas I threw one together this time around to get in game and see how well it would run. I've already resolved to doing a second save file of Sandrock after full release, I think, as I dove in pretty quickly compared to what I normally do. Yeah, romanceables being added later is definitely one major reason to hold off on early access titles in the life sim genre!! Right now it's just a question of which platform I'll be buying it for. I'd buy Sandrock if it went on a particularly good sale, though.except I'd rather get it on Switch, if the Switch version plays well, so I really need to wait until after release before I purchase. I'm don't like seeing events out of order and I don't want to have to restart.įor me, playing in EA's just out of the question, even if buying might not be. I got Kynseed that way but didn't touch it until after it hit 1.0, then stopped again when I realized they still had some valuable content to be added in updates post 1.0. I might BUY it for some reason (say a really big sale) but I won't play it. If the game's not complete, I won't play until it is. I want every bit of content in the game from the minute I start and for me, that's non-negotiable. I don't want to have to wait on all festivals to be in, or features. I don't want to have marriage candidates I like better added later, or to have to wait for their dialogue to be developed or their events to be added. I do prefer the bugs ironed out first, but the main thing is that I can't stand playing without EVERYTHING already in. ![]() I'll back a very tiny amount of games, under specific circumstances, but I won't play them in EA even if I can. These games are already entirely playable and even complete, depending on what content you choose to trigger, but. I just don't like that so many games that have an EA period on Steam tend to call their game 'complete' at 1.0.but have several updates' worth of content planned for AFTER that, and not add-on stuff.we're talking the end of the main plot and final romanceable characters and so on (not DLC ones.) Kynseed also did that. ![]() Sun Haven is a good project.they've been updating very regularly. ![]()
